JUST TWO MORE DAYS!!! Southwest Business – now’s the time!

You’ll notice to the right side of my website that I list my favorite credit cards. And remarkably, my all-time favorite credit card has been missing from the line-up! Why on earth would I withhold my FAVORITE card from you – how dare I, right?
Well, it’s because I LOVE YOU!! Seriously, I would not be a good friend, or proponent of “The Points Game” if I tried to get you to sign up for this card prior to the month of October.
And now that the largest sign-up bonus for this card is going away, it’s finally time to sign up. What card am I talking about???
The Rapid Rewards Southwest Premier Business Card! Until Wednesday, October 16th, there is an all-time high bonus which will give you 80,000 points after spending $5,000 in three months.
Let’s get back to why I waited to share this information with you. If you meet that $5,000 spend BEFORE January 1st, 2020, you will lose an entire year of having the Companion Pass – Southwest Airlines’ (and the entire industry’s) MOST coveted deal in travel!! Seriously, I cannot stress enough the value of this pass. In fact, I’ll just list the places that we’ve gone since having two companion passes in our home:
Hawaii (Honolulu, Maui and Kauai)
San Antonio, Texas
Denver, Colorado
San Diego, California
Tampa, Florida – 2 times
And with the exception of the two trips to Tampa, these trips included six people. It would have cost us literally thousands of dollars to take all these trips, but we used our Southwest points earned entirely from spending money that we spend anyway (on groceries, gas, utility bills, etc..)
You’ll also notice that this deal is for their business card. Think you don’t have a business? You just might. Check out this post to see more about this. And if you still don’t qualify for a business card, hang tight. Historically, Southwest has always increased their bonus at the end of the year. If you have questions about this, or any other credit card, feel free to reach out to me at erin@letsgettotthepoint.com. I’m more than happy to discuss your situation and help point you in the right direction.
