Why we think Hyatt is the BEST chain hotel out there!!

Why we think Hyatt is the BEST chain hotel out there!!

Of course there are lots of great hotel chains out there for you to choose from. In fact, many of them provide a beautiful and often luxurious stay when traveling for business, or for pleasure. When it comes to our family, however, Hyatt is our go-to brand! As a matter of fact, I would go so far as to say it’s the BEST chain hotel overall!

You have multiple brands to choose from with Hyatt

There are more than 875 Hyatt hotels worldwide.  While that number is small in comparison to Marriott, with 7,663 properties worldwide, and Intercontinental Group, with 5,795 properties worldwide, it’s STILL my go-to brand…EVERY.SINGLE.TIME!

Hyatt - the brand we love to love.

Quality

You just know that you’re going to have a great stay if you choose one of the many Hyatt brands.  Some examples include the Hyatt Place and the Grand Hyatt, the Hyatt House, or the Small Luxury Hotels (SLH) high-end properties. Every single stay ends up being a pleasant and remarkable get-away.

Our Experience with Hyatt

Our view from the Palace Suite, at the Hyatt Regency, in Maui.

Just last year, we were fortunate enough to log 30 nights at Hyatt properties all over the United States. However, there are still so many more that we’d love to explore.  Furthermore, we were blessed to see parts of the world that we’ve never visited. Our best, and favorite to date, included the Grand Hyatt Kauai, and the Hyatt Regency, Maui, where we were treated like royalty.

Such an EPIC adventure!!

To see our once-in-a-lifetime upgrade to the Palace Suite, a three-bedroom suite offering 2,500 square feet of luxurious space that included an office space, separate den, dining area, and kitchen, click HERE.

Overwhelming really…

Each bedroom had its own private lanai and a bathroom stocked with bath products from the on-site spa, Kamaha’o.  Oh, and we had a private pond with an African Crowned Crane, and a separate private entrance that allowed us to access Ka’anapali Beach.

Most noteworthy, we decided that we wouldn’t spend the extra money on a luau (almost $1,000 for our family of six), but the on-property luau took place at the entrance of our suite!  Seriously, after this experience, how can we ever return to normal life again?

Enjoying breakfast at the Club Lounge at the Grand Hyatt Kauai.

SOOO Blessed!

Other than God’s amazing Grace, we still don’t know how we were blessed with such an opportunity.  My son and daughter are filmmaker/photographers respectively, and each of them were fully loaded down with equipment, so perhaps they thought we were “undercover” tourists sent in to review their property.

Let’s just suffice to say, we were extremely grateful and will never forget staying in a room that money can’t buy (you literally CAN NOT book this room, no matter how much money you have). To read more about that grand adventure, click HERE.

Upcoming…

This year, we have already booked and stayed at three different Hyatt brands, totaling 13 room nights.  The staff has always been kind and hospitable, and each room was clean and fully stocked with every imaginable amenity.  The Hyatt brand delivers exceptional customer service and always goes above and beyond.  I cannot stress enough how pleased we are to be a family that loves Hyatt.

And you can do the very same thing!

The World of Hyatt Credit Card is currently offering a 50,000 point bonus: (25,000 points after spending $3,000 in 3 months and another 25,000 points after spending $6,000 in 6 months). Consequently, this bonus is worth over $850!  If you’d like to apply, click HERE.

  • Most of my business travel has been at other hotel chains. The only time I stayed at a Hyatt, it was a Regency that was undergoing a facelift throughout the hotel. It made for a louder than normal stay. However, I have to say the customer service on display was above and beyond – they really know how to take care of their guests!
