Hawaii Adventure – Day 1

Hawaii Adventure – Day 1

So, we did a thing. It was an incredible thing. In fact, it was one of the MOST epic adventures of my life. And if you’ll bear with me, I’ll explain exactly how it came about, what we did, and how you can do it too. Hang on for the ride…it’s changed my life forever! For now, enjoy these photos of our first day in Honolulu, Hawaii, hiking Koko Crater Trail (the most difficult and exhilarating accomplishment of my life)!

It was every bit as steep as it looks (and NO shade)!
He ALWAYS has a camera with him, which is super helpful to this mama!
COMPLETELY worth all those steps!
Don’t let those smiles fool you! We were spent….and absolutely FILTHY!!!
“Daddy Starbucks” and I saying, “We actually just did THAT!”
It was tradition, if you successfully conquered Koko Crater, to throw your shoes over the power line. I was SOOO tempted (but then my thrift got the best of me)!

And if you really want to see how tired I was (I sound like I should be singing BASS for the Oak Ridge Boys), here ya go:

Super happy to have accomplished THIS!

  • I am curious to find out what blog platform you are working with?
I’m having some small security problems with my latest website and I would like to find something more safe.
    Do you have any suggestions?

    • Thanks for asking! I am using Kale, from WordPress, and it is facilitated by BlueHost. I absolutely LOVE it too. I learned all of this through a class that I am taking, calling Blogging Blastoff. There is a link on my website page to the right, if you’re interested. It’s been the very best for me, and worth EVERY.SINGLE.PENNY! Blessings!
